Paula Boghosian, Architectural Historian, has completed a wide variety of projects related to historic buildings and districts over a period of 27 years. Ms. Boghosian has served as staff administrator of the National Register of Historic Places and California Historical Landmarks Programs for the State Office of Historic Preservation, and served as Interim Preservation Director for the City of Sacramento in 2003. She has partnered with GEC on numerous projects since 1994, and specializes in the identification, research, analysis and evaluation of cultural resources. The firm has participated in a wide variety of projects, including the preparation of community-wide surveys, cultural resource elements for Environmental Impact Statements and Reports, thirty five National Register of Historic Places nominations, California State Historical Landmarks and Point of Historical Interest Applications, Historic American Building Surveys, Investment Tax Act Certifications, Historic Property Evaluation Reports, architectural materials and paint analysis and both restoration and maintenance guidance, and the development of community preservation programs including ordinances and architectural design guidelines for structures and districts. Company personnel also include associate Don Cox, historian, researcher, writer, editor, and publication designer.
